The Art of Photography

Frames of my life
Hi, I’m Kofi Cromer—a freshman at Colorado Mesa University and a self-taught photographer driven by curiosity and creativity. My journey began when I started recording moments in my life, random time spent with friends or photos of things I found appealing. At the end of my senior year I really started expanding my camera roll. With just my iPhone 12, I started trying new angles and seeing things I never recognized before. What I discovered amazed me: powerful, expressive moments could be captured without high-end gear or formal training. This website is my personal gallery and journal—an invitation into my visual world. It’s a space where I share my story and perspective while proving that artistic, compelling photography isn’t reserved for those with expensive cameras or years of experience. Within these pages, you’ll find the key lessons I’ve learned behind the lens over the past year, paired with insights from seasoned professionals. Whether you’re a beginner with a smartphone or an enthusiast with a DSLR, there’s something here to help you sharpen your eye and elevate your craft. Let’s frame the ordinary in extraordinary ways—and turn fleeting moments into timeless images.
