Memoir
My photography journey began with a want to preserve my memories- documenting life as it happened. From taking photos with my family to capturing nice scenery on a trip, my portfolio grew, increasing my experience and skills as I went. This page will help you get a better understanding of who I am as well as my goal for this website.
The Beginning
For the fun of it
I first started out with just my phone, no specific techniques or special tools, I just aimed the camera and shot.
As I started to experiment more, I became fascinated with how slight changes in perspective, or a small adjustment to the camera settings could completely alter the image of a shot. Over time I Increased my experimentation, playing with exposure, shadows, and contrast to create images with sharper emotions and stronger intentions.
Progress
At a certain point, I started to receive reactions to my photos from peers and family. This piqued my interest and excitement, causing my passion to grow. I started experimenting with my photos, trying different settings, choosing different locations, and photographing things I never would of expected. I also learned the deep significance of a photo the more I captured. Photography is not just about capturing what is in front of the lens—it is about transforming a moment into something that can last forever, a perspective no one else has ever experienced.
The Future
In the future, I hope to see myself traveling with a camera, documenting my experiences, and capturing the essence of the different places and cultures I visit. I want to use my lens not only to record but to share moments, creating a visual story that evokes emotions, and challenges perspectives. My goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of how I see and share the world through photography.
